Artwork Specifications
Camera Ready Artwork Guidelines: Artwork should be 600 d.p.i. or higher lase prints, preferably at 200% of actual imprint size, camera ready, black and white, clean reproduction of customer’s imprint or logo, etc., needing no touch up. Photocopies, actual products, business cards, letterhead or faxes are not camera ready. If touch up work is required, it will be billed at $50.00 per hour. Minimum art charge is $35.00Multi-colored Artwork Guidelines: Multi-colored artwork should be color separated in solid black and white with registration marks for each color. (Please include a color composite.) All PMS colors must be identified on the printout. Some multi-color artwork may require rework by the factory to make print ready and will be billed accordingly.
Acceptable Media: Artwork may be submitted on a 3.5 floppy disk, Zip disk, CD-ROM or via e-mail. Either a hard copy of the art or a faxed copy of the art is needed for reference and accuracy. If sending art via e-mail, please indicate “ART SENT VIA E-MAIL” on your purchase order.
Acceptable File Formats: Digital artwork files may be submitted for orders. Artwork that is submitted needs to be black & white vector line art with all text converted to outlines, curves or paths. We can accept Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw in versions 10.0 or lower as well as EPS or PDF files in Macintosh or Windows format. When e-mailing artwork, please include P.O.# and company name in the subject line of your e-mail. Artwork received without proper order information will be held in a temporary file until we receive further information and this could delay shipment of order.
Unacceptable File Formats: Powerpoint, Microsoft Workd, Publisher, HTML, GIF, or JPG are not acceptable and will be subject to art charges to convert into an acceptable format listed above.
